Refund & Cancellation Policy

Summary: We want you to be happy with your MoonMatrimony subscription. Please read this policy carefully before purchasing a plan.
1. Subscription Plans

MoonMatrimony offers the following paid plans:

  • Silver Plan — ₹999 for 3 months
  • Gold Plan — ₹1,999 for 6 months

The Free Plan does not involve any payment and is not covered under this refund policy.


2. Cancellation Policy
  • Subscriptions are activated immediately upon successful payment and cannot be "cancelled" in the traditional sense, as there is no recurring auto-billing — plans are one-time purchases for a fixed duration.
  • You may stop using the service at any time; however no partial refunds are provided for unused subscription duration except as described in Section 3 below.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered only in the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate Payment: If you were charged more than once for the same subscription due to a technical error, the duplicate amount will be refunded in full.
  • Payment Deducted but Plan Not Activated: If your payment was successful but your subscription was not activated within 24 hours due to a technical issue, contact support for a full refund or manual activation.
  • Unauthorized Transaction: If you believe a payment was made without your authorization, report it within 7 days for investigation and possible refund.
  • Service Not as Described: If the purchased plan features (as described on our Plans page) were not provided due to a platform error, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase.

4. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will NOT be provided in these cases:

  • Change of mind after purchasing a plan
  • Not finding a suitable match — MoonMatrimony does not guarantee matches or marriages
  • Partial usage of subscription benefits
  • Account suspension or termination due to violation of our Terms & Conditions
  • Dissatisfaction with profile quality of other members
  • Failure to use the platform during the subscription period

5. Refund Process
  • To request a refund, email admin.matrimonyinfo@gmail.com with your registered phone number, payment ID (from Razorpay receipt), and reason for refund
  • Refund requests are reviewed within 3-5 business days
  • Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Razorpay within 5-7 business days
  • You will receive an email confirmation once the refund is processed
